Clark, Campbell, Mawhinney & Lancaster, P.A. hires highly motivated law students as summer associates and attorneys. We look for students with outstanding academic records, a commitment to excellence, and diverse interests. We periodically seek lateral hires of attorneys who have relevant experience in practice areas that meet the needs of our firm and our clients.

New associates are given immediate responsibility, including the supervision of files and opportunities for client contact, and their responsibilities are increased commensurately with their ability and performance. It is our belief that sound professional judgment is best developed through early exposure to significant responsibility and the encouragement of individual initiative.

The firm's professional development program underscores practical training in research and writing, as well as sophisticated skills such as negotiation, document preparation, and other "hands on" experience.
The firm also emphasizes providing quality service to our clients, and associates are taught client satisfaction skills.

In order to maintain the highest level of competency, the firm encourages all attorneys to continue their education and pays the expenses of approved continuing legal education courses.

All lawyers in the firm are encouraged to donate their time in service to the Bar, the community, and charitable organizations. Most lawyers in the firm are active in one or more of these areas.
